Fun Peacock Dress with Feather Headress

This dress was made for a Kingdom 12th Night and was meant to be worn with fun and flair! The dress is a basic Elizabethan style gown made from irridescent emerald green taffeta. It consists of a bodice with basic sleeves, an overskirt and a royal blue with gold scroll print underskirt. This gown also has a tie-on third skirt that makes up the peacock tail. It ties on so that the wearer may take it off to sit. The bodice has peacock feather appliques and peacock jewels sewn on the front, the underskirt has jewels and trim added and the overskirt has several different kinds of trim sewn on, including the trim down the front made from real peacock feathers. The headress was custom made by Dragon Wings (a Maryland Renaissance Faire merchant) to go with this dress.
